I Mitchell guay was arrested for a DUI, I knew I was intoxicated and shouldnt have been driving, but was still able to know what I was doing, and drive perfectly. In the end I was pulled over for a "dim headlight" in a white 1972 mgb and was also a suspect in a federal crime later finding out that it was a small dark colored truck smashing mailboxes. In a panic I knew of one lawyer and had read a few of his achievements over his years and had talked to him on occasion. This lawyer referred me to Ted Lothstein. Ted listened to what I had to say with a few relating questions here and there, and even though this was the first time I had met him he believed every word I had to say. Right then and there he decided to take my case. Later in the case, nearing my hearing date I had talked to Ted again. In the back of my head I was thinking the judge would immediately convict me of DUI, especially knowing my blood test results. Out of the blue I get a call from Ted saying, great news I have a plea bargain for reckless driving.Which meant No sr22, nor the 6 to 9 month loss of license, and i agreed to take it. In the end I ended up with a reckless driving charge, which entailed a 2 month loss of license, probation and a fine. Ted was able to find an angle that wasnt to weak or to strong for the prosecutor while knowing what trouble I was in and what my requests were. Not only is Ted a great person and fun to talk to about anything but he is extremely knowledgable, knows what he is talking about and really dedicates his time and effort for you.
